  Research Interests:

  1. Post-harvest physiology and technology of Plant fruit. Huiling Ma has leaded and participate 9 provincial projects with special emphasis on senescence mechanism of perishable produce. Her current research focuses on principle of fresh in-hull walnut CA storage, demonstration and extension of postharvest handling and modified atmosphere storage of fresh in-hull walnut, jujube, etc.

  2. Integral utilization of plant resource with special emphasis on production development such as pectin, fiber.

  3. Non-destructive detection of fruit quality indicated by electronic and color-metric property.

  Silver medal of scientific and technologic progress by Forestry Department of Shanxi Province, as project leader of the “Study on principle and technology of high CO2 atmosphere storage of fresh in-hull walnut”.2013

  Silver medal of scientific and technologic progress by the government of Shaanxi Province, as the Ninth participant of “the Development of high productive forest-fruit tree in the tableland-plateau transition zone of Loess Plateau”,2004

  Authorized patent by State Intellectual Property Office of China, as the first inventor of “Decoloration of apple pectin and production technology of white apple pectin powder”.2008
