Research Interests:

The era of biological data explosion not only brings researchers new development opportunities, but also brings great challenges in data processing and analysis. To this end, our research team has carried out the information mining of multi-omics "biological big data", mainly using mathematics, computer and other theories and tools to carry out the research of computational system biology. Our research goal is to build professional database platforms, develop biological algorithm softwares, and mine the potential information behind biological big data (including text data, genome, transcriptome, proteome Epigenomes, exposure groups and their complex interaction processes), realize the transformation from "big data" to "big information", so as to discover new biological phenomena, new markers and new laws.

At present, we pay attention to the fronteirers interdisciplinary research directions of bioinformatics of animal reproductive development, including: (1) basic biological research: molecular mechanism of animal reproductive development, stem cell stem maintenance and differentiation mechanism; (2) Applied basic biology research: reproductive genetics, animal genome selection and breeding, etc; (3) Mathematical basis and Application Research: artificial intelligence algorithm and biological big data.
