  Research Interests:

Chloroplast development requires the coordination expression of plastid genes and nucleus-encoded photosynthetic genes. We use forward genetic approach to isolate leaf color mutants to dissect functions of essential genes in chloroplast development. We are also trying to identify new components in nucleus-plastid communication signaling pathways.
